PARENTS and VOLUNTEERS
Parents are the most critical piece of the puzzle to an effective and vibrant ministry with students. Whether you have a middle schooler, high schooler, or college student, you are the engine that makes this ministry go! Our goal to connect students with Christ can only happen with your support.
Opportunities for parent volunteers this month:
Wednesday and Sunday night at CHU- 6:00-8:00PM - Chaperone's needed. You'll help with car line, check-in, games, small group discussions. And have FUN!
Sunday School Teachers needed for 10:00 AM for middle school/ senior high. We have the curriculum and a routine set-up. All you have to do is teach about "Jesus". What could be better than that?

Congregations that develop intentional faith formation ministry to and with youth and adults become viable and flourish. Adults need to model a "faith filled" life with a passion for Christ service and ministry. First united Methodist Ocala is intentionally working to help our young people grow in faith and develop authentic personal trusted relationships with a cross generation of adults. Matthew 22:37-39Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
Recent studies shows us that faith integrated into family identity and practice is of vital importance to young people. Church experiences that engage kids in meaningful experiences, help them to feel valued by the congregation. Ministry to and with youth, give them a sense of belonging and a place to go during times of personal crisis.
